1. Cut and Lift 6F-5
2. Connect jumper from 2L-4 to 6F-5
Connect jumper from 2L-5 to 1L-1
Connect jumper from 2L-6 to 5C-4
3. Connect a 330 Ohm 1/4 Watt resistor from 1L-1 to 1L-7
4. Other information:
The Silkscreen labels for the diodes are reversed, so ignore them.
(The square pad is the cathode.)
R106 and R119 have been changed from 15K to 6.8K.

MODIFICATIONS TO THE N.T.S.C BOARD
1. Problem: Heatsink tab of VR1 grounded.
Action: Clear ground plane around mounting hole solder side.
2. Problem: +10 shorted to ground plane at C100 part side.
Action: Cut trace to clear lead of C100.
3. Problem: R31 connected to junction of L17-C96. Should be junction of
R235 and L17
Action: Lift end of R31. Stand from base, bend lead and connect to
junction R235 and L17.
4. Problem: R237 omitted.
Action: Lift base of Q55 from board. Stand R237 up and connect from
base Q55 to board.
5. Action: Add 0.1/50V CER capacitor from cathode of CR17 to ground.
6. Action: Add 0.1/50V CER capacitor from +10 at upper end of R20 to
ground.
7. Action: For Q57: use MPS6515. (Do NOT use MPS6547.)
8. Action: C95 must be changed from 10pF to 220pF.
9. Action: Add 220 pF CER capacitor across R230.
10. Action: Add 47 Ohm resistor in series with Q54 base.
11. Action: Add 47 Ohm resistor in series with Q9 base.
12. Action: Change R205 from: 22 Ohm, 10 Watt
to: 15 Ohm, 10 Watt
In an emergency use 15 Ohm, 5 Watt (116001-150).
13. Action: Cut the trace to interrupt the Green output to J20.
Add a 100 Ohm resistor and 1.0 uH inductor in series across
the cut trace.

MODS TO USE FIREFOX WITH THE LINEAR POWER SUPPLY
When the board set is used with the Switching Power Supply, a jumper
is present, connecting +5V on the Graphics Board to +5V on the Main Board.
When the board set is used with the Linear Power Supply, this jumper
MUST NOT be present.
MAIN BOARD: 1. Cut Split Pad SP1. Resistor R155 must be present.
2. Jumper Split Pad SP2. Resistor R157 must be present.
Alternately, Leave Split Pad SP2 open, Leave R157 unstuffed,
and change R158 to 100 Ohm 2 Watt.
VIDEO BOARD 1. Remove jumper W1.
2. Install jumper W2; Resistor R205 must be present.
GRAPHICS BOARD: No changes.
RFI END BOARD: No changes.
